I'm thinking about getting a quote by HR tattooed somewhere on me. He's my hero, and I'm really into art and music, so I want to quote "You want some art? Come and get it." done. Not too big and flashy, maybe on my ankle or shoulder. I already have a large tattoo on my back between my shoulder blades, so I don't want anything else on my back right now. Just a thought, still in the planning stages.

Is there a quote (by HR or anyone else) that you'd want on your body for the rest of your life?

Actually, I had found a quote by Joe Cole that I fell in love with:
"Someday is today... where did my dreams go?"

Hank says entirely too much kick ass stuff to choose JUST ONE!!! lol

lol Yeah I know what you mean. Other Rollins quotes that were in the running were "Scar tissue is stronger than regular tissue, realize the strength and move on" (too long for me), and "Sarah Palin's kids ate my food." (which I wasn't really serious about....) And I love that quote from Joe Cole. He would've done many more incredible things if he was given the chance.. RIP.

I have one that says, "Get your god in my way and I will bring you the rapture". But I'm an atheist is part of the reason I have it. Not for everybody I know.
I like the Joe Cole quote idea. I promise not to steal it.

Not stealing at all.... lol Just spreading the word of greatness cut short.

Can you imagine what the world would be like had Joe gone on to help Henry take over the world!?!?
But then again... do you think Henry would be where he is with his particular sense of drive if Joe had not been killed? Joe's death seemed to really spark something in him that I think pushed him harder in certain directions. Henry is a driven person by nature, but think he has said and done things due to Joe's death that he might not have done otherwise.

Joe Cole was definately a Henry Rollins waiting to happen... he just needed to find some confidence in himself. His book is amazing.

That's going to look great. Be sure to post pics when you get it. But I have to tell you, that's gonna hurt like a bastard.
