hello from nowhere
hi, guess who's dropped in for a visit..yeah, well a quick update on life and crap.
first off i couldnt pay my internet bill so i was offline except by mobile phone from February till April, and then i had my hands full dealing with severe psoriasis and other health issues, all while working a shit-sorry job for peanuts but at least i'm employed, fed, clothed, and housed.
right now, i am dealing with a recent tragedy, a person i was working with passed away suddenly of a heart attack last saturday and i attended his wake yesterday with a few other co-workers. i am working as a mail carrier at a huge freakin mega-pharmaceutical company and he was training me to do his route as they were going to transfer him to other areas. so, it was my job to inform his many friends and aquaintences whom he saw everyday that he'd passed away...this has been the shittiest week of my life (okay, maybe not THE shittiest) but still. the dude had two young daughters aged 13 and 9, and a wife of 14 years, and 10 brothers and sisters (god-damn!) - so yeah plus the fact that out of all of my co-workers, i got along with him the best. so, yep, life does suck.
however, i did pick up Roomanitarian at the local barnes and noble, i've been leafing through it whenever i need to get my mind off of shit. because of my state of perpetual brokeitude, i was not able to procure a special copy of A Preferred Blur, but i may just order it along with some other Henry stuff this holiday weekend...
i havent listened to many Harmony In My Head shows lately, i've just been too damn preoccupied. so that's the state of things lately, i hope you guys are doing much better than me.

yeah, I've skipped over a couple of pieces in Roomanitarian too. sometimes it's like, nope, not with you on this one Henry, next!
hey, not sure if you've seen the latest hello henry blog post. you're a zinester right? i'm putting together a zine right now and are looking for contributors. if you're interested and have time it would be cool to receive something from you for it.

- hi raequel, good to hear from you. so sorry about your work friend. hang in there. i'm making my way through Roomanitarian as well, can't afford the new one yet either! the recent post punk show on HIMH is not one to miss, so be sure to check that one out when you've got the chance.
