It all starts now...
Good morning, good afternoon, good evening. Where ever your are in the world hello. This is London calling.
My name is Matt (aka The Curtism) and you're with me now.
Initially I thought the blog for for those who ran the site or moderated it. Clearly I was wrong. So here I am. For you. Metaphorically smearing pooh on your nice clean walls.
And I'm delighted to do it.
So what's new? I'll tell you something you may be interested in. Something Rollins related. I ordered a signed copy of A PERFECT BLUR. I got the email saying it was on its way. I waited. Waited. Waited. Nothing. So I wrote to those nice people at Music Today. I asked them - WHERE WAS MY BOOK? They answered. Lost in the post. That said, they were good enough to refund my payment. I'm very grateful for that. Especially in these times of hardship.
Still, I would have liked to have got the book.
If anyone has it let me know how good it is. A DULL ROAR is still one of my favourite books.
In future I'll be even more self indulgent. Even more attention seeking. I'll tell you things that you won't want to know but you'll read them anyway. I'll invite you to dance through the art of tedium that is my world of wonder. Each new day is a multicoloured parade of car crash flower arranging and nightmare clown suits.
Speaking of clownsuits: Here's an old saying...
ONE MAN'S FASHION OUTFIT IS ANOTHER MAN'S CLOWN SUIT AND YOU SIR ARE COCO THE CLOWN.

Go ahead London, we're reading you five by five.
Heya, yeah I devoured "Blur" in less than 24 hours. It's SPLENDID! Honestly, it's really great. Different from "Roar" mostly because it isn't a catalog of a life around a tour, but still the same half poetry half prose travelogue we've come to expect from Dear Henry. I hope you get your copy soon.
Glad to see you opening up your own blog to titilleate and exacerbate your fellow Rollins fans with.
